Canadian Operations

Field Aviation designs, modifies and certifies aircraft for specialized roles across the globe. Our expertise is the missionization of commercial platforms for search and rescue, intelligence, surveillance and interdiction roles for both government and civilian customers.

We also develop system specific STCs for many different aircraft. Our capabilities include build-to-print parts manufacturing for aircraft OEMs and our own modifications. We are also a factory authorized repair, overhaul and sales center for many avionics equipment manufacturers.

Field Aviation announces that it has been recognized as Universal Avionics top North American dealer for 2010.

In a ceremony at last week's National Business Aircraft Association (NBAA) annual convention in Atlanta, Universal Avionics President and CEO, Ted Naimer presented Field Aviation's President and CEO, John Mactaggart with the Top North American Dealer Award in recognition of Field Aviation's outstanding sales performance and dedication to supporting Universal Avionics line of advanced avionics equipment.

In accepting this award, John Mactaggart said, "Considering the quality of Universal's authorized dealer network, this designation is something that all of us at Field Aviation can be very proud of".

In a separate ceremony, Field Aviation took delivery of Universal Avionics 20,000th Flight Management System (FMS) since their first FMS, a UNS-1 was delivered at the 1983 NBAA.

Field Aviation is internationally recognized for its unique engineered solutions consisting of the modification and conversion of aircraft for special mission applications utilizing Universal Avionics Multi-Mission Management Systems as standard equipment and the flight deck modernization of the Dash 8 100/200/300 series which is based on Universal Avionics latest technology EFI-890R displays.
